Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing The Seed as your retreat venue. To ensure a seamless experience for everyone, please review our terms and conditions carefully. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Booking & Payment
Deposit & Payment Schedule
Initial Deposit: $1,250 USD (non-refundable) to secure your dates
50% of total retreat fees: Due 90 days before arrival
Remaining balance: Due 21 days before arrival
Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in the release of your reserved dates
Security Deposit
A credit card authorization of $1,000 USD is required
The authorization will be processed through TAB only if needed
Processing date will be backdated to the retreat end date
Charges apply only for damages, excessive cleaning, or unpaid fees
2. Occupancy Requirements
Minimum stay: Three nights
Minimum participants: Seven guests at full rate
Final participant count: Must be confirmed 21 days before arrival
Single occupancy supplement: $65 per person per day (subject to availability)
3. Property Use & Privacy
Shared Spaces
Garden and Temazcal may be shared with cottage guests
Exclusive property use available for $2500 USD per day full occupancy including 3 meals per day per person.
Outside guests must be approved in advance:
$25 per person for single ceremony
$40 per person for full-day access
Check-In/Out Times
Check-in: 3:00 - 5:30 PM
Check-out: 7:30 - 11:00 AM
Early/late fees: $150 for first hour, $50 each additional hour
Early check-in subject to availability
Room availability before 3 PM not guaranteed
4. Services & Amenities
Meals
Breakfast: 8:30 AM
Lunch: 1:00 PM
Dinner: 6:00 PM
Times flexible within 30 minutes
Special dietary requirements: 30 days notice required
No meal adjustments for late arrivals/early departures
Internet
Fiber optic Wi-Fi provided
Service interruptions may occur due to remote location
No compensation for connectivity issues
Additional Services
Wellness services bookable up to 2 months in advance
Final confirmation required 2 weeks before retreat
External therapist fee: $25 per service for equipment use
All services must be arranged through The Seed
Direct payment to service providers required
5. Room Assignments & Changes
Final assignments due two weeks before arrival
Room changes after check-in: $25 cleaning fee
Detailed assignments submitted via provided spreadsheet
6. Property Rules
Quiet hours: 9:30 PM - 9:00 AM
Alcohol: Permitted in moderation (not recommended for retreats)
Children must be supervised
No pets allowed
Smoking in designated outdoor areas only
7. Cancellation Policy
Retreat Cancellation
Up to 90 days prior: 80% of paid amount transferable to future retreat
Less than 90 days: No refunds or transfers
Individual participant cancellations not managed by The Seed
Force Majeure
80% of paid amount transferable if agreed by both parties
Valid for retreats within 12 months
Subject to availability
Transfer decision at The Seed's discretion
8. Media & Photography
Property photo album available for promotional use
Shared content must tag The Seed's accounts
Copy of content requested for The Seed's promotional use
We can provide a photographer recommendation should you decide to hire one
9. Retreat Leader Responsibilities
Submit detailed program two weeks before arrival
Manage participant payments and communications
Ensure adherence to property policies
Responsible for group conduct and property respect
Liable for any damages or excessive cleaning needs
10. Insurance & Liability
Travel insurance strongly recommended for leaders and participants
The Seed not liable for injuries or property loss/damage
Leaders assume responsibility for participant safety
The Seed not responsible for service interruptions beyond our control
